The Shadow Of Your Smile ” is a great pop singer’s album American Andy Williams , launched in April 1966 which included versions / covers of “Michelle” and “Yesterday”.
With this album, Williams appeared at the top of Billboard magazine’s LPs of 14 May this year and stayed in the album charts for 54 weeks, reaching number six position. It entered the UK charts in July where he stayed for four weeks, peaking at number 27. The album received a gold record of “Recording Industry Association of America”, on September 27, 1966.
On the B side of this LP, “Bye Bye Blues” had great success on Billboard’s Hot 100, reaching number 127, and peaked at number 18 in the tables of Easy Listening magazine.
This album brought Andy the sixth and final nomination for a Grammy, which Williams received throughout his career, this time for Best Vocal Performance, Male (Best Vocal Performance, Male). This appointment not only focused on the performance of a particular song, but in Williams’ work on the album as a whole.
