” Trouble Is A Lonesome Town ” was the LP debut solo Lee Hazlewood , released in 1963.
The album is filled with stories about various aspects of American life, country / cowboy ballads and drink sodden songs, interpreted by the legendary baritone, Hazlewood, accompanied by acoustic guitars and harmonica solos. The singer-songwriter has previously collaborated with Duane Eddy and would later compose for Nancy Sinatra. Album, highlight the excellent theme “Run Boy Run”.
Barton Lee Hazlewood, known only as Lee Hazlewood (July 9, 1929 – August 4, 2007) was a singer, composer and American music producer.
He became famous for his composition of the highly successful “These Boots Are Made For Walkin ‘, sung by Nancy Sinatra. Hazlewood won cult status in rock “underground” American by combining country, folk and psychedelic rock during the decade of 60. He had a distinctive voice and besides composing for Nancy Sinatra recorded several albums in partnership with it.
He retired in much the music during the decades of 70 and 80. However, continued to be acclaimed and has several songs performed by other artists such as Lydia Lunch, Primal Scream, Entombed, Einstürzende Neubauten, Nick Cave, Hooverphonic, Anita Lane, Megadeth Beck, Boyd Rice and Slowdive.
She died of cancer (cancer) on August 4, 2007, after 78 years.
