Twist With The Ventures ” was an album of the group The Ventures , which reached the charts and stayed there for 29 weeks in 1962, reaching the position # 24.
This was the fifth group of the album and the first in a series of four albums oriented to the dance that helped The Ventures to establish an identity or a brand image as ‘America’s Party Band’. Along with the next album, “The Ventures’ Twist Party Volume 2,” both made it to the tops of the Billboard Top Album Chart.
Twist With The Venture s was recorded in late 1961, launched in January 1962 and has influenced many instrumental ensembles of the time.
The album begins with an energetic theme, “Driving Guitars (Ventures Twist),” which was written by Bob Bogle, Nokie Edwards and Don Wilson. It is one of the best original songs they wrote during his career.
